One of the best things about the new 2020 Ford Explorer is your ability to customize the SUV to your specific needs. This rugged, spacious SUV was completely redesigned for 2020, inside, outside, and under the hood, and there are now two new available trims. Additionally, there is now a Hybrid version, and the ST, which is the most powerful version of the SUV to date. Join the friendly dealers at Woodhouse Food of Blair for an exploration of the trim levels of the 2020 Ford Explorer.

Explorer, XLT, and Limited

The well-equipped base trim of the 2020 Ford Explorer is simply called the Explorer. This large, eight-seat SUV comes loaded with a standard suite of features including tri-zone electronic automatic temperature control, a reverse sensing system, and rear-wheel-drive. Next up is the XLT trim, which adds several key features such as the Class III Trailer Tow Package, SecuriCode® Keyless Entry Keypad, and Intelligent 4WD. Moving up on to the Limited trim adds amenities such as a Hybrid powertrain, leather-seating surfaces with micro-perforation and accent stitching, and the all-new Terrain Management System.

ST and Platinum

The power-focused ST trim is new for the 2020 model. Both this trim and the Platinum come with an available 3.0-liter EcoBoost® engine that cranks out 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft on the torque on the ST trim. Finally, the top of the line Platinum trim adds premium luxuries such as the B&O Sound system by Bang & Olufsen®, a twin-panel moonroof, multi-contour seats with Active Motion, and a 10.1-inch LCD Capacitive Portrait Touchscreen in Center Stack with Swipe and Pinch-to-Zoom Capability.
