A Redesign of the Ford Explorer is Coming Soon

The Ford Explorer has been one of the top-selling SUVs of all time--and for good reason. It has pretty much remained true to its roots since its debut almost two decades ago. In fact, it has kept its fifth-generation model for nine years itself. However, the all-new 2020 Ford Explorer is coming soon to Woodhouse Ford of Blair, and it has a new design.

The exterior design still may seem somewhat similar to the existing model, but it has been completely overhauled. There’s no more passenger and cargo space inside. The three-row SUV seats up to seven passengers and can get almost 80 cubic feet of cargo space with the seats down. An added perk? You can switch the rear surface from carpet to vinyl, depending on your needs. Plus, it can tow over 5,000 pounds, which is a massive improvement from previous models.

Co-Pilot 360 will be a standard feature in the new Ford Explorer model. The features include blind-spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping assist, automatic high-beam headlights, forward collision system with automatic braking, and pedestrian detection. There are also optional features including adaptive cruise control with lane-centering technology, automatic rear-braking system, and active park assist. There’s also a standard power liftgate that allows you to easily open the lift when your arms are full.
